INTEGRITY ENGINEERING
What is Design Safety? – 3 Day Workshop
A good design is not only safe design, it is also good business. Getting safety right in design is something that goes far beyond mere lip service, inspirational 'Safety First' footers in an email and a plan to conduct a HAZOP at the end of design ahead of construction.
This workshop goes beyond identifying all the activities that are required throughout the project lifecycle, by helping delegates to identify those key opportunities where safety can be best applied efficiently and effectively. This is achieved by imparting an ability to anticipate and address the safety issues that can arise during a project, a key skill for all design engineers. It also identifies those critical interactions between safety and other engineering disciplines during the design process – everyone has an important part to play in the Hazard Management process.

Integrity Engineering has developed a range of high quality training programmes designed for those individuals and companies working in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Design Safety
Key Principals of Consequence Modelling
Each programme spans an intensive three days of informative lectures, training sessions and worked examples.
Who will benefit;-
-
Clients and Contractors engaged on projects or operational facilities
-
Engineers, line managers and supervisors
-
Those engineers who are new to the Oil and Gas Industry
-
Personnel involved in the design, operation or modification of Oil and Gas facilities
-
Individuals who would like to develop their current understanding of Hazard Identification, Safety in Design and Process Safety
-
Those involved in Accident Investigation
Fundamentals of Consequence Modelling – 3 Day Workshop
This workshop sets out to provide delegates with a working knowledge of all key aspects of Consequence Modelling.
It is general in nature and content and independent of any specific commercially available consequence modelling tool or package. It sets out the terminology, physics and the principals in planning, undertaking, results interpretation and presenting these studies. The importance of planning, checking and ultimately preparing clear, specific recommendations is highlighted throughout.
This workshop is directly relevant to those personnel responsible for aspects of consequence modelling and assessment during the design, upgrade or operational phases of an Onshore or Offshore facility.
It is for engineers and managers alike and provides an overview of the techniques involved, the areas of uncertainty and critically the ways in which the results and recommendations can be constructively used and fed back into a project or operational activity.
It also provides an excellent general overview for those Professionals who are required to understand and implement the results from such studies – be it engineers, project managers or regulators.
